Seattle and a trip from Hades

So, on Friday July 14, 2017 we went to Seattle to get my phone repaired and to eat at a restaurant that Cindy had eaten at with the girls several years ago and to visit the Space Needle.  The trip was suppose to take 2 1/2 hours to get there.  It took us 4 hours because the traffic was so bad.    We had to get my phone replaced because the battery had died and would not wake up. We went to the Apple Store that someone had recommended and it took forever to get it done.  First,  there was an appointment scheduled and then there was a wait to see the tech who would diagnose the problem and then a wait to get a new phone for the price of a battery.  It was the same kind of phone and no upgrade of course.

After that we traveled to downtown area where the docks are located and went to Dock 57.  We were looking for the restaurant Crab Pot and as I said Cindy had eaten here before.  We finally found the place and ordered our meal.  The food was good but the price will kill you. It was $167.00 for the three of us AND THAT WAS JUST LUNCH!!!!!  I would hate to eat dinner there.

After the expensive lunch we went to Pike Place Market which is a big deal in Seattle.  They have everything there including a fish market with fresh fish and flowers that would cost you $200 in Atlanta for $10 or $20.  Of course they had the tourist stuff also, but I was broke by this time.  So Cindy left earlier for the market because she thought it was going to close.  The waiter gave us directions to walk to the market and it was up several flights of stairs.  Cindy did not tell Bobby and me, until after we had started home, that she caught a ride on a bike taxi with her Super Hero and did not walk to the market.  Check out her photos of her view of the transmission of the guy on the bike.

So now it is time to head back to the RV.  It took us over three hours to get home, again because of all the traffic.  Never ever again!!!

Saturday and Sunday we are just hanging around the campground and lake and doing nothing.
We will head to Mt. Rainer on Monday to visit before we leave this area.
