Tombstone, OK Corral Gun Fight and Ladies of the Evening

We went to Tombstone yesterday.  I was surprised because I thought Tombstone would be a great thriving town and well populated.  Not so.  All of the town is a historic district and there are three main streets that have been preserved and are the main tourist attraction for the town.  I do not know the population of the town but it is not many.  There are no modern store such as CVS, Walmart, Kohls, no shopping center or strip shopping center in the town that we saw.  There are restaurants but they are kelp in the old western style and there are saloons in the town.  The main street it appears is Freymont and Allen Street which use to be the main street when the EArps were here is still in tack.  There is another town Santa Trace, which is about 16 miles from Tombstone that has everything you could ash for including a Nail Salon.  One of us had to get their nails done and that is how we found this city.
Tombstone has the re-enactment of the shoot out at the OK Corral, which is one of the big attractions and then there are several other shows inside the treaters in town.  Shootouts in different saloons and such in order to collect as much money from the tourist as possible without it being a bank robbery!

This is Allen Street, which was the main street of Tombstone, when the Earps were looking for the Cowboys at the OK Corral.

They have several of these coaches in town that you can pay to ride in and they take you on a tour of the historic district

A few fellows hanging around outside the theater where the history of Tombstone is given.  It is not a movie it is a turntable and it spins around when a different part of the storey is told.  Cindy laughed though the whole thing!!!

After fifteen minutes in the town Cindy was give the option to ride out in a buggy instead of a rail!!

This is the re-enactment of the OK Corral Shootout.  This is suppose to be Wyatt and Virgil standing in front of the jail

Now this is Morgan and Wyatt and Virgil as they get ready to confront the Clantons.
