Willow Beach and the RAMs

We arrived at Willow Beach, a National Park, located on the Colorado River.  It is located on the Arizona side of the Colorado River and just across the river is Nevada.  We got here about 1:30 in the afternoon and got settled in and took naps! Yea for the naps after a long trip pulling the RV.  When we got set up, we met a couple that was on the site next to us.  He is a retired LA County Sheriff Deputy and he and his wife were every nice.  As we talked we found out that they were in the same RV park as us in Wyoming and they went to the Fourth of July parade as we did. (last year)

The next day we went into Boulder City, Nevada which is across the river and the official town of Hoover Dam.  It is a very nice city and they had everything we needed and Starbucks was the first stop here.  Can you read between the lines!!  We then loaded up on groceries for the week and headed home.  Cindy has never seen the Hoover Dam so we will be taking the tour while we are here.  I toured it in another life years ago.

As we arrived back in the park we had a welcoming committee greet us.  There were about 6  RAMs traveling together down the mountain. a couple posed for me as I was taking pictures.
