Parade, and No Fireworks for the Fourth of July

On July 3, 2017 we went into Crescent City to find out information on when the activities for the fourth of July would take place.  They were setting up the arts and craft booths and of course Cindy and Ashley wanted to do some early shopping and we had to go to everything set up.  A few hundred dollars later we got the maps of the city where the parade would take place and went to look for a good place to set up.  Found one and came home after a stop at Starbucks, of course, can not go to a town with out a Starbucks trip.

On the fourth of July we got up early because the parade we were told would start at 9 am.  We got up at 5 AM because you have to get there early in order to get a good place to put your chairs and watch the parade.  Well we got there and then found out that the parade would not start until 10 am and we were there before 7 am.  Man I hate going to anything that has a crowd.  The parade started and then the kids came and crowded around us like flies over honey.  We did not know it but should have that they throw candy out for the kids and the kids wanted all they could get so they were running in between us like deer trying to get away from Wolves.  What a terrible time that was.

After the parade was over we went back to the visitor's center where there we more arts and craft booths set up and food booths also.  We walked around killing time in town until the fireworks show was suppose to start.  The fog kept rolling in and we finally left because it was so thick that we knew we would not be able to see anything for where we were watching.  Heck you couldn't see anything if you were setting in the pyrotechnics's pocket.
